The new bus stop at Thompsons and Bulleen Road is taking passengers, Member for Eastern Metropolitan Shaun Leane announced today.

The bigger, better bus stop has two extra bus bays, new shelters and a new entry to the car park for passengers using SmartBus services.

The expanded stop is used by more than 150 passengers every weekday on routes 200, 305 and 905. The stop also services Night Bus 961 on the weekend.

The new stop is part of the $41.5 million Doncaster Area Rapid Transit project, funded by the former Labor Government.
