Poor drainage at Mullum Primary School will soon be a thing of the past, thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Earlier this year, a brand new $937,000 Performing Arts Centre opened at the school, but the school is experiencing poor drainage near the new building.
Member for Eastern Metropolitan Region Shaun Leane today announced the school will receive $150,000 to fix the problem.
The Victorian School Building Authority will now work with the school to get the works started.
The Labor Government has invested an unprecedented $3.8 billion in school infrastructure over the past four Budgets, to ensure it can continue to cater for the estimated 90,000 students who are expected to enter the school system over the next five years.
This school building boom has delivered more than 1,300 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
