Families in Maroondah are a step closer to an upgraded Croydon Community School, with the Andrews Labor Government announcing $500,000 in funding for planning works.

The $685 million investment, part of the Victorian Budget 2017/18, will go to improving classrooms, upgrading facilities and building new schools across the state.
Detailed planning work is the first step towards future upgrades at Croydon Community School which is one of 12 projects to share in $7 million to plan for the future.
The funding is part of the Labor Government’s total $2.5 billion investment in our schools, including over 1,000 existing school projects and 56 new schools.
