Students at Boronia Heights Primary School will benefit from new upgrades, giving them the first-rate facilities they need to get a great education.
Boronia Heights Primary School will receive funding to complete the Stage 2 works of the modernisation project. Classrooms and associated learning spaces will be upgraded and the existing gymnasium will be refurbished and brought to competitions standard.
The Andrews Labor Government is making sure every child gets the very best start in life, building and upgrading a record number of Victorian schools.
The $685 million investment, part of the Victorian Budget 2017/18, will go to improving classrooms, upgrading facilities and building new schools across the state.
$195 million will go towards upgrading and modernising 59 regional schools and 49 metropolitan schools. The projects include new classrooms, STEM facilities, gymnasiums and playgrounds.
This includes $1.5million for upgrades at Boronia Heights Primary School; a project that the entire community can be proud of.
The funding brings the Labor Government’s total investment in our schools to more than $2.5 billion, including over 1,000 existing school projects and 56 new schools.
